TODAY: Going Green workshop

The Twin Cities Daily Planet is launching the Going Green blog, and we’d like to hear your stories about more environmentally-friendly living.

Together we can document what’s working, what’s not working, what’s frustrating, and what’s downright funny about going green.

July 2nd. 6:30 -8:00 p.m.

(corner of Dale and University in St. Paul)

• Learn how to write about your environmentally friendly practices.

• Meet other St. Paulites making the moves to live a greener life.

• Set up a blog, or learn what a blog is.

Vote Tuesday in primary elections

Primary day is Tuesday, September 9. The primary election narrows the field of candidates to one from each party (in party-designated races) or two for each open seat, in non-party-designated races. Each voter may vote on all of the non-party-designated races and in the party primary for candidates of one party only. For example, if a voter chooses to vote in the Independence Party Senate primary, that voter may not cross over to vote in the Democratic Congressional primary.
