Returning favorites—Live Action Set (Part 4)

Not that I begrudge them a prodigious artistic output or anything, but if they add any more to their list, I’ll never get around to talking about anybody else.

Kafka’s Disgusting Tale of Transformation, A Buffon’s Metamorphosis

“Galen Treuer and Noah Bremer of Live Action Set team up with Hopkin’s Main Street for the Performing Arts to bring you this outrageous Buffoon clown monstrosity of Kafka’s literary ‘classic’.”

So, what’s with the quotes? Is “The Metamorphosis” suddenly not a classic anymore?

(Wikipedia? “The Metamorphosis (German: Die Verwandlung) is a novella by Franz Kafka, first published in 1915. The story begins with a traveling salesman, Gregor Samsa, waking to find himself transformed into a ‘monstrous vermin.’”

Commonly (misconstrued apparently) thought to be a cockroach.)

For a while it was just called “META” (because, you know, that’s so meta)
