Bending circuits, subverting consumer culture
Squeaks, squeals, blips, and borps emerged from every corner. Techno music was the soundtrack. Computerized voices, farm animal sounds, and well-known childhood melodies rang out. Conversations reflecting the complexity of a schematic prevailed. FORECAST: A new era
30 years ago, a partnership between the Minneapolis Arts Commission and the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA) inadvertently launched one of the most active and broad-reaching arts organizations in the Twin Cities, FORECAST Public Artworks.
